The Network Infrastructure (NI) Services Automation & Analytics Team (SAAT) is the exclusive solution provider of the Nokia Corporate Data Strategy within NI. We are responsible for consolidating data sources and transformation under a common data platform, ensuring data quality and traceability. In all areas of the business, we aspire to increase trust and confidence in available data and access to data.
As an Senior Automation Developer , you will be a part of our data analytics team, responsible for the transformation of many applications in our support scope. You will be responsible for end to end development and support of any and all automation solutions designed and developed. The overall objective for this position is to have a strong candidate ensuring successful end to end technical delivery.
Develop an in depth understanding of the business processes in scope for automation, including technology systems and environments to ensure a timely resolution to process exceptions and to ensure minimal impact to business teams
Proactively ensure the availability and stability of automated processes through monitoring and building awareness in a complex environment
Identify and recommend strategies and solutions to enhance processes to drive continuous improvement.
Build effective working relationships with teams across application teams, product owners, technology delivery teams, internal IT support teams and external technology vendors
Communicate regularly with multiple stakeholders on progress of incident resolution and maintain relevant documentation for incident, problem and change management
Drive engagement with business teams, IT Support teams and other team members for issues through to incident resolution
Contribute to the teams methodologies for testing, root cause analysis, impact analysis, system change management, continuous improvement and release deployment.
Keep up to date on technology and industry trends to identify opportunities beyond current business needs
Accountable and responsible for production deployments and respective verifications.
Be the first point of contact for all maintenance related communications and requests
Manage and triage issues related to RPA platform and BOTS
Identify and triage issues through practical problem solving skills, including Exception Handling and first level troubleshooting
Your skills and experience
Strong software development background
Developing knowledge, understanding, and experience managing applications development and the employment of best practice guidelines throughout the software development life cycle
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming
Experience and working knowledge in programming languages i.e. .Net, APIs, SQL, Python etc.
Good knowledge or at least basic knowledge of technical skills in any coding language C#/Java, VB Script, Excel VBA (Excel Macros)
Should be able to write/understand basic SQL Select; Oracle & SQL Server primarily in use among others to lesser degrees
Manage complete rollout of own developed solutions through UAT and Production rollout phases.
Good RPA development and support experience and mindset
Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing, implementing automation workflows in a tool like UiPath.
Should be able to work independently end to end, right from automation feasibility, design, coding, testing and deployment on automating the Process in the RPA platform
Should possess a passion for automation software design with a talent for independently solving complex technical problems with UI Path or any other RPA Tool
Support full life cycle implementation of RPA program including RPA Development, QA, Integration and Production deployment.
Design, code, test and deploy automation workflows using UiPath-like RPA platform and respective tools i.e. code repositories, design documentation, project tracking (Jira)
Analyze and Design solutions in accordance with design principles, including but not limited to:
Error and Exception handling
Notifications and alerts
Execution and usage Logging
Should have experience in support and maintenance of production robots
Solve issues that arise in day-to-day running of RPA processes and provide timely support and solutions as required
Manage day-to-day system development, implementation and configuration activities of RPA
Agile Process and Scrum familiarity: Experience with Atlassian JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management and Confluence preferred
Self-confident, strong problem solving, proactive mindset with experience working in a multi-cultural environment, strong direct communication skillset
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, and should be able to verbally communicate directly and independently to understand the requirements and articulate a solution
Provide solution designs to customers throughout the deployment during POCs and project implementation phases.
Deliver technical artifacts, demos and provide necessary support for new and existing customers.
Conduct peer reviews, code reviews and buddy sit new developers and trainees
