Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

Your skills and experience
• Responsible for commissioning/deploying and upgrading various Nokia NMS/OSS products (viz., NetAct, NOM etc) over BareMetal, VMWare/OpenStack cloud and Cloud native environment.• Perform SW maintenance and / or other complex technical activities such as installation & test of technical/change notes /change deliveries, VNF/NE integrations, Onsite technical audits, troubleshooting etc.• On-site support at customer’s premises participating in deployments, upgrades, and system integrations.• Participate/collaborate with multivendor and 3rd party product teams viz., EMC/HP etc., for installations, integrations, and interface troubleshooting.• Proactively work and provide prompt resolution on issues encountered during deployments/upgrades together with customer, R&D and multiple stakeholders as necessary.• Participate in system acceptance testing with Customer.• Act as Technical Lead for the team as and when necessary.• Work with customers from across geographies and thereby understanding the problems and providing timely resolution.• Participate in internal and customer meetings and act as single-point-of-contact for all technical topics within the domain.• Maintain prompt and clear communication with customers and all required stakeholders.
You have:
• Suitable candidates will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering/computers/networking with 8 – 10 years of industry experience preferably in telecommunications.• Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS and Virtualization concepts – VMWare or OpenStack is a must.• Redhat Linux/ VMWare/OpenStack /Kubernetes/OpenShift Certification must. (at least one).• Potential candidate must be familiar with networking concepts & understand the basic terminologies like VLAN, subnetting, routing and knowledge on DCN (Data Communication Network) required.• Expertise/experience on databases is a must. (at least one of Oracle, MySQL, Maria/Cassandra DB).• Good knowledge on hardware and storage (HPE/EMC) is strongly desired.• Expertise / Experience in deploying OSS/NMS products/applications on BareMetal and Cloud infrastructure (OpenStack or VMWare), preferably Nokia NetAct. Experience on Nokia’s cloud solutions like CBIS/CBAM is desirable.• Knowledge of any OSS (Operating Support system) and NMS (Network Management system) is strongly desired.• Good knowledge in any one of scripting languages (Shell/Perl/Python/Ansible), will be an added advantage.
It would be nice if you also had:
• Good Understanding of Wireless telecom domain standards: 2G, 3G, LTE, SRAN & 5G etc. • Good to have exposure on Microservices, Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, Helm charts and Cloud-Native concepts. • Good exposure and knowledge of version control and collaboration tools like git, Gerrit, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint etc.• Experience in large and complex system integration projects involving Software customizations preferred.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.• Self-driven and customer/result-oriented approach.
