Summary of Position:

Alcon is looking to hire a Manager, Safety Data Science to join our Medical Safety team at Bengaluru in India. Act as the liaison between Global Medical Safety management and AGS associates or third-party service providers to deliver timely and accurate safety analyses. Drive process development and continuous improvements in safety data analytical tools and systems to support aggregate reporting and signal management. Build scientific and technical competency for talent pipeline to support key Safety Data Science deliverables
Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a single point of contact for matters regarding patient safety data analysis.
• Drive management of objectives, development planning, and performance of AGS associates or third-party service providers for Safety Data Science; ensure global strategies are implemented and business goals are delivered on time
• Establish safety data processes and associated key performance indicators (KPIs) across the Alcon portfolio. Develop and update data templates and standard operating procedures in compliance with applicable industry regulations for the total product life cycle.
• Oversee and/or coordinate the development and implementation of data applications to facilitate safety compliance.
• Oversee and/or coordinate the provision of analytic outputs for risk assessments, aggregate safety reporting, signal detection, and ad hoc analyses in the required format.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with Alcon functions and third-party service providers to ensure the fulfillment of safety data requirements; represent Safety Data Science at internal and external meetings, as appropriate.
• Provide support as needed for internal audits, regulatory authority inspections, and project/product recall

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical or scientific field
• 3+ years of experience of Project Management
• 3+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance or Materiovigilance
• 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics

Shift Timings: 12PM to 9PM with slight flexibility
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• PMP certification
• Demonstrated experience leading transformational cross-functional projects
