Join the Amazon Internet Services Pvt Ltd (AISPL) Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) Industry team to execute on the industry strategy by working backwards and in collaboration with the world’s most innovative companies. Our team focuses on engaging directly with technical leaders, C-level executives and influencers at all levels across the Life Sciences segment and around the world to support a digitally-enhanced, data-driven healthcare.
As a HCLS Industry Specialist, you will be part of the HCLS Industry team that shapes and delivers on a global healthcare strategy to help the healthcare ecosystem transform. Your responsibilities will include engaging with C-suite customers across Life Sciences organizations to deepen our relationships, working with strategic industry partners, attending and speaking at industry events to drive thought leadership, leading the process to guide our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, and creating significant business opportunities for AISPL. You will work closely with the AWS sales leadership in engaging with healthcare organizations to drive their strategic interactions with clients. You will work closely with the AWS product and services teams to help evolve AWS offerings for more rapid adoption by customers.
You will work with Healthcare and Life Sciences Organizations in the commercial or public sectors and interact at the executive level (CxO/VP). You will think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges and build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. You will lead and drive multiple complex initiatives across technical and non-technical stakeholders to meet business objectives with a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong data and metrics, a good understanding of industry ecosystems for life sciences, and a passion for helping them transform using cloud technologies.

Educational Background:
MBA coupled with technical background with Computer Science, and/or Engineering/Math background; working knowledge of software development practices and data center / infrastructure / networking technologies.
Enterprise Execution
Strong 18+ years of techno-commercial account management or business development experience in delivering consulting/solutions to healthcare and life sciences customers in India.
Intimate knowledge of the Healthcare and Life Sciences value chain and the application of technology to modernize is a plus.
Passion for cloud technologies – working knowledge and experience in cloud computing, and specifically their application and regulations in Life Sciences.
Passion for the healthcare industry – good understanding of how the healthcare industry operates and the unique characteristics of the industry ecosystem.
Technical knowledge of HCLS applications, platforms, and data ecosystem, with ability to go deep on technical aspects to understand current and future customer needs and present AWS technical benefits.
Ability to execute on a strategic market development plan and ensure it’s in line with the AISPL strategic direction, in partnership with key internal stakeholders (e.g. product teams, marketing, partner team, legal, support, etc.)
Work closely with business development teams, solutions architects and partner teams to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions for the HCLS industry, including partner-based solutions.
Handle high volume of engagements and interactions in the fast pace of the cloud computing market.
Commercial/ Relationship Acumen
• Extensive C-level relationships across HCLS customers and door opening capability.
• Strong executive presence – very comfortable in holding peer-to-peer engagements with C-level executives.
• Equally comfortable holding discussions with HoDs, Functional Leaders, Enterprise Architects and Technology leaders on strategy and roadmap.
• Participate in preparing quotations, proposals and solutions (for RFPs, RFIs) and present the solutions to the customers
• Network and relationships among in the external environment among strategic partner organizations and ISVs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical bachelor’s degree required
MBA / Computer Science, and/or Engineering/Math background huge plus.
