We are actively recruiting for a Senior Consultant in Asset Performance Management (APM) to join our PreSales Function. The objective is to Engage with our top Customers to understand the business challenges they have and articulate the business value of adopting AVEVA’s leading-edge Asset Performance software solutions.
The position reports to the Senior Manager, Presales India.
In this role, You will
• Apply your industry and solution expertise in APM to bring value to our customers
• Understand the AVEVA portfolio and how to position it.
• Think outside the box and how different products can interface to create a solution around APM
• Run workshops with our large customers to understand their Business and KPI’s
• Be Competent with Salesforce.com and sales lifecycles.
• Run regular reports in SalesForce to understand what opportunities are actively being pursued
• Engage with Customers/Alliance Partners/ Distributors/System Integrators to assist with portfolio understanding, solution positioning and general enablement.
• Work with your peers around the APAC region as well as globally
• Take responsibility for the preparation and presentation of technical proposals and presentations, work breakdown structures, architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, Asset Maintenance Strategy and Maintenance Protocols.
• Contributing to the planning, creation, organizing and execution of Proof of Capability presentations and demonstrations to prospects that “prove and confirm” the value of our technical solution to their specific needs/problems.

In addition, you possess the following relevant skills:
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering/IT with experience managing technical teams.
• Ability to build long term, customer-focused relationships is essential with solid, direct and related sales experience being highly advantageous
• Have worked as a Reliability consultant/Service provider for at least 3 years
• Ability to communicate well with all the different functions in the business
• You have worked with Risk-based Maintenance software and/or Predictive Analytic software
• Have the ability to understand Technical engineering/application design and complex software solutions
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations as required (approx 33% travel)
• Competent communicator at all levels particularly C-level
• Keen to learn and understand our competitors’ solutions
