Senior Collaboration Engineer Location: Hyderabad, India We are seeking a Senior Collaboration Engineer with a focus on Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 Productivity ecosystem. This candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience working as a Subject Matter Expert for SharePoint in a hybrid Microsoft 365 environment and administration experience in M365, Active Directory, and SharePoint on-premise. Responsibilities • Reporting to the Service Owner of Collaboration, the Collaboration Engineer is a senior technology leader that will function as an SME for collaboration technologies, with an emphasis on Microsoft 365 • Provide escalation support within our ServiceNow ticketing system related to permissions and recovery activities within SharePoint sites, OneDrive for Business, Forms, Stream, Yammer, and other related collaboration apps defined in the UC&C Service catalog • Create SharePoint constructs using classic/modern site design including site content, document libraries, custom lists, web parts, and workflows using Power Apps, etc. as required by the business. • Work with business and IT stakeholders to evaluate project requirements and create design functional requirements and necessary documentation as prescribed by the assigned project manager • Contribute to strategy, design, and implementation efforts to continuously improve AVEVA’s collaboration services. • Help evangelize best practices in collaboration by directly training users on document management & collaboration best practices and contribute to ongoing adoption programs • Partner with individuals across a variety of business units, IT services, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues, provide technical feedback, and contribute to the overall architectural direction. • Maintain standards, policies, & guidelines for the collaboration platform so that they are in line with respective service owner expectations in Security Operations, Digital Delivery Team, and trusted advisors to the business. • Maintain updated working knowledge within the Unified Communications & Collaboration space by taking available Microsoft courseware, attending conferences, and getting certified where required. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience working with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, workflows, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint 2013, AAD, Teams • Experience with data organization, data privacy, and governance programs in mid-to-large organizations • Proven experience working with AvePoint Backup, ShareGate migration tools or similar, Office 365 Modern Workplace apps, Teams, PowerShell, OneSpace (Intranet), Citrix ShareFile • Ability to conduct meetings with business stakeholders to capture relevant process requirements and articulate into technical requirements • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and have strong analytical & problem-solving skills. • Excellent English speaking verbal skills and documentation skills • Excellent client service delivery with a focus on the end-user experience and end-user training • Certified or willing to get certified in ITIL V4 Foundation, Microsoft Productivity Associate level, or related Expert level legacy certifications in SharePoint. • .NET, JavaScript, HTML, Graph, and other programming languages for SharePoint development is a plus.
