The boeing company is seeking to recruit a senior manager to lead its security and fire protection activities across indiaFunctionally reporting to boeing’s director for international security, this manager will be responsible for leading and developing a growing team of security and fire protection (s&fp) professionals, who provide boeing in india with global risk management services and standards to protect its people, property and information, and support its business resiliency.
Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to the following:
Provide senior management oversight of the s&fp team at boeing india’s engineering and technology campus in bangalore, and of security staff assigned to other parts of india.
Formulate timely and effective advice and guidance to the company’s business units and boeing international’s leadership on threat assessment and security risk management, ensuring alignment with s&fp’s international mission and strategy.
Provide guidance and support to the country leadership team in its crisis management and emergency response plans, actions, and trainingThis includes the development and maintenance of contingency plans, enhanced national and regional situational awareness, and identification of country-specific threats, hazards, and vulnerabilities.
Continuously develop a comprehensive security strategy for the delivery of international security and safety, and which includes measures to promote a robust industrial security posture in support of the government customer.
Implement robust policies and processes that enable the business to remain agile and to be governance and risk-compliant, including emergency and business preparedness planning.
Foster a culture of security and safety awareness across the region.
Oversee governance, risk and compliance requirements, security and safety education, security investigations, threat management issues, commercial vendor support, and the integration of organizational plans, policies, and procedures.
Set challenging but achievable operational goals for the team, which deliver excellent business-enabling and supporting results.
Recruit and retain the best team and talent, and set high expectations.

With a main office location in new delhi, this position will be expected to undergo regular travel across india and occasionally to international destinationsThe incumbent will need to meet the national requirements to access indian military establishments and to advise on related industrial security matters.
Basic qualifications (required skills/experience):
Bachelor`s degree or higherAlthough not essential, the successful candidate is likely to have a degree in a related subject, or a professional security qualification of similar standing
10 or more years of relevant experience, including evidence of senior management responsibilities, which might include, or be a combination of military, law enforcement, intelligence or corporate security settings.
Prior experience of physical security measures including technical security systems.
Prior experience of monitoring operational risks, incident response, and advisory support
Previous security experience in the region, including fluency in hindi and english (essential), and tamil (desirable)
Have detailed knowledge and practical experience of security risk assessment/ management/mitigation processes, plans, and practices.
Prior experience of networking with industry peers for best practice benchmarking through organisations such as osac, asis, acsg, etc.
Preferred qualifications (desired skills/experience):
Experience of delivering industrial security requirements in support of the indian government.
Typical education & experience:
Bachelor or master degree with 15 to 20 years’ experience in medium to large mncsA master’s degree in business administration (mba) is desirable.
