Job Purpose and Impact
The Commercial Trainee / Sales Trainee position will be the key point of contact between Distributor and Secondary Market for achieving the assigned territory Volume, Infra & KPIs target by dealing with channel partner, retailers & key accounts. Increase the business volume by introducing new stake holders, scheduling appointments and open new customers for promoting new products and explaining inputs. This position advises customers about delivery schedules, after sales service, arranging sales, contract and payments. This position is also responsible for recording orders and sending details about competition, market feedback & competitors’ feedback.
The location mentioned as Gurgaon will be only for administrative purposes . The Trainee will be expected to relocate to other locations anywhere across India including Tier 3 and 4 cities after 4 Months of training.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for achievement of Primary and Secondary Sales Target (Volume, Infra & KPIs target) assigned
Responsible to ensure distribution coverage by enlisting new retailers and service them by aligning / restructuring beats
Maintain strong relations with trade & key accounts and visit key retailers to ensure the business
100% compliance of Sales processes, safety and systems
Maintain MIS related to sales, initiatives and incentives
Assist to SR/DSM in working with retailers on provided sales plan and execution of BTL activities
Achievement of KPIs (eg: EC – Effective calls, UBO – Unique billed outlet, PC – Productive calls, LPC – Lines per call)
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Masters’ degree
Good communication skills, basic knowledge of excel
Good negotiation and follow-up
