Job Purpose and Impact
The Global Delivery Manager – Supply Chain Planning will be the information technology champion for all digital initiatives in the portfolio for the Supply Chain Planning domain. In this role, you will provide oversight and guidance for a medium sized team that designs, builds, tests, maintains, and integrates digital applications supporting supply chain planning capabilities within the organization. The Delivery Manager will lead individuals who provide solution governance to supply chain planning capabilities across all of Cargill’s supply chain planning applications – specifically for global target architectures – and ensure delivery and support objectives and services meet the needs of Cargill’s businesses.
Key Accountabilities
Ownership of ongoing solution management and delivery activities for supply chain planning digital solutions – inclusive of infrastructure, security, continuous improvement, support, and business value tracking/performance.
Provide broad oversight and guidance for activities, which include analysis of business requirements and preparation of detailed technical specifications for application configuration and integrations.
Collaboration with Global Service Owner, Global & Digital Architects, and other team members to align resource needs to meet roadmap objectives with financial goals and targets, Cargill DEI goals.
Partner collaboratively with the Supply Chain Planning COE, business supply chain leaders, BRMs, and super users to understand business priorities and needs – including timelines, scope, resource identification, and financial estimates.
Facilitate and lead collaboration across Global IT teams as it relates to key integration areas, including ERPs, Data Function, Security, etc. in order to achieve end-to-end stable planning solutions and enforcement of architecture principles.
Provide oversight of application management teams (AMS) supporting the global supply chain planning applications to ensure overall support services meet contractual obligations and Cargill end user satisfaction.
Develop plans and deliver results in a demanding business environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Proven ability in leading and deploying supply chain solutions in a complex business environment
Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning and/or IT businesses
3+ years experience leading diverse global teams and employees
Minimum of ten years of related work experience
