Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of strategies and tactics in support of the sale of company products and commissioning services, directly or thru sales channelsThe position will require extensive involvement in the completion of all critical tasks related to the sales process including opportunity creation / identification, lead qualification, product selection, proposal generation & follow-up, and the ultimate capture of new businessThe sales manager is responsible for successful direct business development, representative development, and developing strategies for penetrating pmcs, oem’s, epcs, end user and direct market penetration.
Principle duties and responsibilities
Responsible for new equipment business of including o&g, power, fertilizer industries, and other general industries in india sales region
Manage and monitorexisting channel partners and evaluate possibilities of adding new channel partners for better geographical and business growth
Take necessary actions to strengthen the relationship with key account customers, pmcs & epcs.
Develop new customer and find new business opportunity.
Cooperate with functional team to ensure project execution smoothly and payment collection timely.
Manage representatives in the territory including forecast, business plans, and follow up on open opportunities.
Travel to select customers and prospects to develop personal relationships with key contacts, explore opportunities, and solicit inquiries and / or ordersDevelop a working knowledge of the customers’ process, organization, and overall business to gain a competitive selling advantage for the company.
Manages and tracks the sales department efforts on quotation activity, profitability levels, pricing trends and quotation success ratios for assigned territories.
Prepare and present technical sales presentations to customer decision makers to promote company product offering and / or confirm that proposed product(s) complies with the customer requirements / specifications.
Submit weekly reports, as required, which conveys noteworthy information collected during the week involving markets, customers, competitors, reps or any other industry information that may have a direct or indirect impact on the company or business.
Interface with customers and make site visits as necessary to conduct product design reviews and / or address commercial issues, to facilitate a customer order commitment.
Execute and implements programs to promote the technical advantages of clyde union products designs, features, and services.
Execute, maintains profiles for clients (end users, epc’s oem’s).
Take ownership of major projects providing overall strategy to win the business.
Provide competition updates, market intelligence/pricing recommendations.
Performs channel partners/agents/sales representative goal setting and periodic reviews.
May perform other work-related assignments as deemed necessary and appropriate by supervisor.
Work closely with the application engineers of respective facilities to ensure a compliant quotation is prepared on time.
Seek technical and commercial support as necessary from manufacturing locations as appropriate.
Liaise with contact / project management during execution of contact to ensure cotd and smooth execution.
Preparation of pre-qualification documents and enlistment of the company as applicable.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
B.e in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering from a recognized university and institute in india
10-20 years of working experience in related o&g, power, fertiliser, and other general industries
Prior expereince in api pump industry is prefered
Good communication, influencing, management, presentation, negotiation skills.
Good english communication (written and verbal) would be a preference.
This position may require extensive travel up to 70% of timeCandidate should be passionate about spending more time in field.

Sales experience in selling industrial flow products, particularly in aftermarket sales.
Ability to review customer supplied specifications, p&id, and data sheets as they pertain to specific job usance and apply to celeros equipment offering to determine best selections suited for purpose and applicationShould be capable of utilizing sizing programs.
Proficient is ms word, excel, powerpoint, and adobe acrobat as they relate to job usage.
Experience in handling large accounts will be preferred.

Education and experience
B.e/b.tech in regular courses from recognized universities and institutes in india.
10-20 years of related experience in a sales role in oil & gas, power, fertilizers, and general industries in the india sales regionPrefer candidate from api pump industry mnc background.
