The IT Project Analyst is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. This position is based in Pune and will be part of the Citi Private Bank Capital Markets Technology group.
To provide support through a comprehensive and project management service to all the appropriate stakeholders to facilitate the successful delivery of Capital Markets Technology programs and projects
As a part of a global team, the analyst will provide necessary project management support, help in the implementation of consistent as well as standardized business processes.
The position requires good interpersonal, communication & analytical skills to work with multiple stakeholders and various global teams.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Works closely with Project Management/Program Management team to support adoption of consistent governance framework across the team
Coordinate the production of reports and support the production of program/project summary reports
Helps monitor overall budget and highlights project financials and/or capacity deviations, tracks actual project costs, identify variances, and reforecast project costs as needed.
Contributes to workflow or process change and redesign, and to forms a strong basic understanding of the specific product or process associated with a project under management.
Collects, measures, and analyzes project performance data.
Identifies, tracks, and closes project issues from an overall team perspective
Ensures creation of project scope management plan.
Identifies quality standards and metrics relevant to the project and how to meet them.
Identifies project risks, perform probability and impact analysis, determine responses to risks, track risks, and execute responses as needed.
Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner.

Proven interpersonal, data analysis, management, and prioritization skills
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
Proven self-motivation skill to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail
Sound knowledge on Capital Markets/Investment Banking domain and experience covering any aspect of Private Banking business will be a plus
Technical ability: Microsoft Excel, Data Analysis, Microsoft PowerPoint, Sql (Nice to have)
Skills: Experience in preparing project documentation, reports and presentations
Good to have: Understanding and experience in Agile practices
