The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements
Identify and analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions
Utilize knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex issues
Analyze information and make evaluative judgements to recommend solutions and improvements
Conduct testing and debugging, utilize script tools, and write basic code for design specifications
Assess applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures
Develop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, procedures, standards, client server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
0-2 years of relevant experience
Experience in programming/debugging used in business applications
Working knowledge of industry practice and standards
Comprehensive knowledge of specific business area for application development
Working knowledge of program languages

The QlikSense advanced Designer/Strategist will be responsible for design, development and implementation of technical solutions for next generation data strategy platform. We’ll need you to be a great communicator and influencer, and, especially, a collaborator. You will regularly collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology guidance, requiring a clear understanding of the desired outcomes and a solid grasp of the overall technology roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Qlik Sense BI (Business Intelligence) visualizations and dashboards.
Query, analyze and transform complex data sets to optimize dashboard flexibility and performance.
Support of the existing dashboards
Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers
Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting appropriate combination of methods and tools within defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution
Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, and build scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across data sets
Perform the root cause analysis for the Data Quality issues and Implement the solutions to remediate the issues.
Provide analyst support to document and maintain end-to-end data level linage, implementation of data controls, and documenting/maintaining technical metadata for in-scope processes and organizational objectives
Collaborate with Data Stewards, Data Custodians, and other stakeholders to maintain Data Dictionaries.

Qualification Criteria
Solid working experience with QlikView & QlikSense
Experience on NPrinting and adhoc report building in QlikSense/Mashups.
Expertise working with Vizlib and any other licensed libraries for QlikSense
Ability to design Qlik data models for best performance and develop sheet objects and understanding of available functions and properties
Knowledge of Qlik Set Analysis
A flair for good User Experiences a MUST. Should have a proven track record in this area.
Expertise in GUI design with Qlik platform to develop easy to use applications.
Experience with QVD/QVF capacity plans and estimates
Good numeracy with the ability to analyse data
Proficient in building and optimizing complex SQL queries
Qlik QMC experience with scheduler, triggers, and job monitoring. (desirable)
Knowledge in Qlik Installation, Configuration, Administration, Security, Development, and Designing (desirable)
Must be a team player, and open to working on new challenges as time evolves.
Must be a self-learner and should have the interest to learn new technologies and business processes
