Job Description:
This role is for senior manager within Citi Global Wealth Management Technology (GWM Tech) Organization’s financial management team, an important part of Chief Operating Officer (COO) team of GWM Tech
This role would have a front row seat to witness of the organizational workings of GWM Tech & would directly support senior management & finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing & managing strong relationships with Technology, Leadership, Finance & Business Management teams
Drive some of the key financial management processes established to promote transparent, on time & sound expenditure of the budget
Work closely with Technology teams & Business Management teams to align the expenditure forecasts with the budget
Provide consultation to leadership team on the financial implications of the various technology initiatives
Lead the analysis for assessing the impact of certain events on financial forecasts, events like foreign exchange currency changes, inflation & assist in much more financial analysis & risk assessment
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership team on matters related to financial forecasts, expense drivers, variances, balance sheet impacts
Assist in driving & closing the monthly financials by coordinating between multiple regional finance teams & business managers
Analyze variances for multiple Lines of Business, compare financial forecasts to targets assigned & align financial forecasts across multiple systems
Co-ordinate between business managers & technology program managers on financial forecasting across multiple Citi systems
Lead the effort to co-ordinate the budgeting & forecasting of the next year’s budget plan
Implement the changes to organization hierarchy during the restructure.
Strive to optimize the financial management processes
Requirements:
6+ years of relevant experience in financial or budget management
Strong interpersonal skills to co-ordinate with large teams of knowledge professionals, negotiate & prioritize the actions during the complex situations
Ability to work effectively with senior and middle level managers and with large interdisciplinary teams.
Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication
Analytical skills to interpret large volumes of data, spotting anomalies, assessing risks in financial forecasts
Proficiency in Microsoft office tools like Excel & Power point to create the materials for presentations & demonstrations to senior management
Experience in use of collaborative tools like Microsoft Sharepoint, One Drive & Confluence
Confidence to work with stake holders across all levels of management & geographic location
Knowledge of project management & workings of technology organization
A persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
