We are looking for a Bridge Design Specialist to join our team, giving you the opportunity to co-create on some of the most prestigious infrastructure projects in India.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be responsible for:

Leading designs through your technical excellence
-
Liaising with COWI engineers across the Globe
-
Playing an active role in the COWI Bridge Technical Networks to enhance Technical Excellence and best practice across COWI.

Completing assigned tasks on agreed quality, time and budget
-
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of work activities executed
-
Ensuring compliance with standards set in the project and adhere to COWI quality procedures
-
Mentoring and supporting the development of graduates and technician.

Furthermore, you’ll have:

Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering with 8+ years of experience in RCC and PSC bridge design
-
Proficiency in the Finite Element Method (FEM) and the use of commercial FEM-software like SOFISTIK
-
Experience with text-based programming, e.g. VBA
-
Proven track record of working with international codes such as the Eurocode
-
The confidence to lead teams and manage projects in an international setting
-
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software, particularly MS Excel and
