We are looking for a High Voltage Engineer to join our team, giving you the opportunity to co-create on some of the most prestigious infrastructure projects in India.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be responsible for:
EHV design and tendering of Onshore/Offshore AIS/GIS substations.
Implementing and specifying SVC/Compensators, Transformers, Reactors, Harmonic filters.
Independently developing layout design of Onshore and offshore substations with minimum input.
Earthing and lightning protection design.
Protection and Interlock logic for the substation control system.
Form part of tendering team, preparing proposals for Greenfield and brownfield projects.
Work in close collaboration with skilled designers to create an optimal electrical design.
Engineering calculations, technical specifications, data sheets and reports.
Preparing single line diagrams, cable schedules, generate MTOs, etc.
Inter-departmental coordination and communication with colleagues in India and Europe.
Preparing and reviewing electrical equipment datasheets.

Furthermore, you’ll have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-8 years of experience
Good experience in design and tendering of high voltage systems.
Knowledge of Equipment Testing and Site commissioning
Strong knowledge of High Voltage substation international standards & guidelines (IEC, CIGRE, NEC etc.)
Good knowledge of EHV offshore platform design and requirements is desirable.
Experience in planning and design of EHV Over Head Lines.
Familiarity with IEC 61850 based substation automation system.
Knowledge of bonding and termination of cables up to 500kV.
Expertise in electrical system studies and calculations using Powerfactory, PSCAD or ETAP.
Experience in working on projects involving Hazardous environments.
Good Knowledge on IEC, IEEE, NEC, CIGRE, NEMA, NFPA and API standards.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software particularly Visio, MS Excel and Word
Knowledge of AutoCAD and working on 2D drawings.
