This position is a hands-on software engineering role for Platform IT team based in Wroclaw, Poland. The team develops back office Case Manager Application’s providing support to CRO operations & production activities. Activities supported includes Credit Risk and Market Risk functional domains. We also support compliance division. This position requires working closely with development and support teams ensuring the quality of mission critical Risk & Compliance Systems wherever possible. You are expected to be hands on developer with back end system development expertise & being able to work as an individual contributor. The candidate who is chosen for this role/project should expect to be technically & functionally highly able to adjust with high demand of requirements. The project expects the person to learn by going through reading material and with minimal guidance, the candidate should display high degree of proactive behavior to be up to speed. The project works with agile delivery model and is using scrum methodology. Any JIRA items allocated to the candidate will be expected to be delivered front to back including unit testing and signed off UAT. The candidate will be expected to provide support for production issues and challenges that may be encountered for their work and any other issue related to the same. Essential Skills & Qualifications required are: * Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related topics is essential; alternatively, an equivalent education in one of these areas * Confirmed track of minimum up to 8 years of development engineering project experience * Expertise in back-end development engineering (Java, JEE) * Expertise in Spring framework (SpringBoot, Security, MVC, Batch, Integration, Data) * Expertise in Continuous Development/Continuous Integration * You are motivated to work in an agile, iterative development methodology * Good to have – Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and Frameworks such as React JS * Good to have – Knowledge and working experience with frameworks like Spring JPA and Hibernate * Good to have – Basic understanding of design patterns * Proven understanding of regulatory environments and finance is an advantage * Go-getter, passionate about technology, client, and team oriented * Self-motivated and self-dependent personality * Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives Job: Legal & Compliance* *Title: *Core Java Developer(Backend) , AVP,#208906 Location: India-Pune-Pune Requisition ID: 208906
