Job overview the role of hr function is a support function within the company to help managers reach results by having the right people in the right place with the right development.this is done by being the process owner and taking an active part in recruitment, and talent growth thru identifying and proposing development plans and training in soft skills among othersFor this, the hr manager has a team to support activities that shall be managed in the best way.hr also ensures that the company complies with local labor law, educates managers as such and takes an active role in conflict management and facilitates pace reviews together with responsible managers when neededHr manager is also making sure that the organization is in line with global hr processesResponsibilities
Hr manager is entrusted, but not limited to, the following activities and responsibilities:
Working closely with the management team of epiroc india to ensure that hr is aligned with the business and the epiroc mining india strategies.
Together with the management team follow up on appraisals, find synergies and propose central training/development initiatives
To develop and coordinate employer branding programs for cc india to give the best branding and image in the targeted talent market and major recruitment channels; to contribute to making the company the best choice for present and future employees and within this also formulate and drive various employee engagement and retention initiative.
Follow up on the effectiveness of the employee engagement initiatives, conduct surveys and discuss outcomes with respective managers for corrective action plans.
Develop and implement and provide high-quality hr processes that are in line both locally india and globally.
Support local management in identifying the correct structure and strategy for people management within the company (organization structure, job content, roles and responsibilities, reporting lines, work levels)
To support the managers in hiring the best talent and provide the new employees a smooth onboarding experience.
Promote internal career opportunities by ensuring that the career ladder exists and is communicated efficiently to employees.
To support and facilitate change management within the company
To ensure that the people development is in line with the company’s mission by defining, organizing and facilitating relevant competence development programmersTo develop training procedure, identify the training needs through competence mapping, and discussion with the managers.
Support management in identifying high-potentials and mentoring programs;
Conduct exit interviews, analyze and close the feedback loop with the managers
To measure hr effectiveness through appropriate benchmarking and metrics.
Report according to group metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis the hr performance indicators (group hr reports)
Ensure admin activities in relation to hr policies are correctly executed and followed up on (attendance, monthly salary files, that people exited are not in files have access etc.)
Act as the first point of contact for hr-related issues for bargainable and non – bargainable employees; lead conflict resolution approach in cases of disciplinary action;
Degree in any stream
Post-graduation in hr management
Minimum 7-10 years in hr.
Strong in communication
Able to influence people.
