SE SALES ENGINEER/SYSTEMS ENGINEER THE ROLE • Responsible for assisting Strategic Account executives developing and closing business needed to achieve the sales quota with in targeted named Strategic –, Key or Vertical Accounts, while promoting the expansion of Extreme solutions within existing customers infrastructure by becoming a trusted advisor. • Responsible for assisting Resellers/Partners involved with Strategic accounts and growing extreme skillsets within that partn er base. Part of this means training and consulting from a pre sales perspective. • Reporting to : Regional SED/SEM • Stakeholders: SAEs ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop, coordinate, and manage all technical pre sales activity for targeted accounts including product demonstration, technica l presentation development/delivery, solution development, integration and design for RFP/RFI and proposal writing . • Lead person to present and demonstrate the Extreme networks technical value proposition to prospective customers and partners • Provide detailed feedback from customers to Extremes product management and development teams. This is the key aspect of a circular technical sales motion that needs to be developed and owned by the SE to enhance our product and technical knowledge ‘base’. • Enable Channel Partners in building their sales engineer skills/people by teaching the Channel Partner SE how to qualify, pre par e and deliver a winning Extreme Networks Solution • Build a solid and honest trust relationship with End customers and partners. Help create an ambassador ecosystem. • As part of a team provide true team support across the region should that be required ( Skillset, experience, etc) • Understand the competitive landscape and educate key stakeholders on the position of Extreme vs competitors.
