EY Finance – Infrastructure Team: Supervising Associate
This position is part of GDS India Finance – Infrastructure Team and reports to the Assistant Director – Finance. This position serves a critical finance role in supporting all activities related to the Source to Pay process.

The opportunity
The primary responsibility will be overseeing the procurement and accounts payable related issues in Mercury, working with business teams to raise critical issues, addressing design and configuration related issues. You will work closely with other members of the Finance and accounting teams (India and Overseas) and provide accurate and timely information. You will also be responsible to liaise and drive the month-end closure by interacting with various stakeholders (India and Overseas) to provide timely and qualitative inputs

Your key responsibilities

• Work with business to ensure timely closure of Source to Pay process during month end / year end periods
• Train onshore teams on SAP Source to Pay Process. Mercury – SAP knowledge is a must
• Assist business in stabilizing their BAU process
• Support business on any critical issues through raising priority tickets
• Interact with finance stakeholders to ensure smooth closing and reporting
• Ensure timely compliances of applicable statutes
• Identify areas for process improvements/automations and implementation
• Timely reconciliation of payable balances and sign offs

• Working in multinational environment with different time zones
• High accuracy and on time delivery
• Succinct and structured oral and written communications skills
• To qualify for the role, you must have
• Strong Accounts Payable and accounting skills
• Expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint and handling large amount of data sets and tasks
