Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in sales or partner management in a consumer electronics/products company.
5 years of experience working and/or consulting in the mobile industry.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
5 years of experience in the mobile industry working across mobile devices, mobile operator, and/or related consulting.
Experience with partner relationship management, new partner development, and management activities.
Ability to interpret legal documents keeping in mind local context and work with attorneys on specific contract language.
Ability to plan/manage at strategic and operational levels in mobile network companies.

As a Strategic Partnership Manager within Devices and Services Partnerships, you will build and maintain strategic relationships with many of our partners. You will launch new relationships, capitalize on business opportunities, plan Go-To-Market and promotion executions, resolve issues, and analyze/measure key metrics to identify trends. You’ll be a key partner contact, partnering cross-functionally to drive implementations designed to improve Google hardware.
In this role, you will partner with functions across Google (i.e., Marketing and Retail Operations) to build, launch, and measure programs and initiatives.
The Hardware Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded hardware portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers and resellers worldwide. Drive and action distribution agreements and business for Google-branded hardware and deliver to goals.
Initiate agreements with potential partners, lead exploratory talks, and build consensus with internal/external executives.
Consult with strategic partners, manage partnerships to deliver results, and build excellent long-term partner relationships with external partner managers.
Act as a Google-branded hardware relationship manager to realize and optimize value from the partnership.
Lead cross-functional projects and teams by working with business stakeholders across the organization.
