Partnering with and supporting business partners across global corporate bank, commercial banking, credit, product, legal, compliance and line of business operations
Driving the end to end deal execution process across support teams ranging from front office (including credit risk, bankers, sales) to back office (including documentation, collateral and core transaction processing teams) providing leadership, transparency and accountability
Driving credit documentation discussion and negotiations with client
Delivery of best-in-class credit documentation processes including managing the execution of credit facility letters, deal closing process, ownership of sourcing and reviewing client constitutional documents and conditions precedent
Development and ownership of location`s performance based metrics in support of established business & operational goals
Working with local regulators to meet and surpass the increasing demands of onshore data and processing requirements, and reporting transparency including but not limited to npa monitoring, sharing of information, various rbi submissions such as risk based supervision, nonresident guarantee submission, information utility, crilic, etc.
Working directly with business and technology partners in setting priorities within the competing business strategies, including but not limited to automation projects for regulatory reporting, internal reporting, etc.
Working across functional areas to ensure all operational, financial and technology risks have been addressed
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skill set:
12+ years` experience of credit administration / transaction management / credit execution demonstrating strong credit product knowledge; a thorough understanding of the transaction cycle of credit documentation and the associated risks and regulatory requirements
Leadership, strong people management and relationship management experience, including demonstrated partnership with the business, technology and corporate groups
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present precise, concise and summarized analysis to senior executives
Proactive/self-starter with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
Exhibits initiative to raise issues to appropriate staff when needed
Strong control mindset, focuses on continual improvement and capacity management
Highly organized, motivated and strong prioritization skills
College and professional degree
Fluency in english
