The candidate should have solid experience in providing monthly financial analysis that highlights key drivers and dependencies impacting results and the overall health of the organizationThe candidate should also have experience collaborating with high-performing teams, a good working knowledge of financial systems and processes, as well as experience with managing extremely large datasets and using aggregation tools to consolidate data into meaningful reporting viewsCandidate should have familiarity with streamlining reporting processes to minimize delivery timelines.
Responsibilities will include the oversight of monthly expense management, headcount trending, analysis of all centrally produced financial management reporting (actual and plan) for global tech, assisting in annual budgeting and strategic planning, designing, establishing, and maintaining an efficient and effective mis infrastructure to support delivery of management information, and oversight and assistance in ad hoc projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting and business reviews that provide clear, impactful explanations of operating results and variances based on relevant business drivers, and help ensure expense goals are achieved
Assist in the production of the monthly operating reviews which provide senior management with detailed information on monthly financials, trends and business outlook to assist in key business decisions
Produce executive presentations, analysis and supporting materials for key internal clients including senior management; participate and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed
Participate in the global annual planning process for expenses and headcount involves financial modeling, coordinating and consolidating submissions from bm teams
Develop, consolidate and present insightful and robust financial analysis including annual budget, quarterly/monthly forecast variances
Build models for forecasting and ad-hoc analysis leveraging large data sets
Drive process improvement to enhance reporting and gain efficiencies
Capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately under pressure and tight deadlines
Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders
Proactively take ownership of financial data and elevate any issues
Qualifications, competencies:
Chartered accountant / mba in finance with at least 10+ years of working experience in financial planning, forecasting and variance/ trend analysis will be preferred
The candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong team management, leadership and stakeholder management
Strong technical, analytical and modeling skills, including excel, powerpoint
Excellent multitasking/prioritizing skills and ready to deliver under a challenging environment
Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations
