Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Next Generation Network Specialist , you will provide 3rd level engineering support for our customers. and responsible for the complete VoIP environment You will be providing 3rd level support for planning, implementing and operating VoIP systems Acts as a point of contact for Service Managers in technical topics and also participating in VoIP projects
The major responsibilities of the IPT/Telephony Provisioning Analyst include:
• Previous experience in POTS, PRI, VOIP, SIP, and or data circuit provisioning required. Knowledge of telephony technologies, LNP practices and ability to read carrier records.
• Understanding of TDM and VoIP telephony architectures and infrastructures including associated equipment and functions.
• Understanding of North American Dial Plan and international dialing processes.
• Understanding of service provider circuit provisioning processes and potential issues.
• Obtain service records, invoices, and CSRs for client sites as required.
• Maintain telephony inventory in Service Now CMDB.
• Interface with client TEM provider to insure invoice payment and inventory accuracy.
• Daily communications with internal departments such as: Accounts Payable, Human Resources as well as other divisions of IT as required.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Responsible for handling network/security support, problem management, managing network performance and proactively identifying issues before they become customer affecting.
Provide Architect , design , maintenance and troubleshooting support for Cisco SDN (ACI)/Switches/load balancer/Firewalls etc. appliances utilizing best practices along with other aspects of client security.
Collaborate with Architects on solutions addressing application delivery, integration, and access control needs.
Support the operations of advanced IP network/security services and take escalations from Level 3 and SME engineers and as directed by Operation Managers
Support in Systematic Improvement Plan and work towards closure of the case.
Perform complex changes on the Network and Security devices.
Act as SPOC for customer focal, must be a able communicator
Train and mentor engineers.
Participate in various Network and Security projects. Participate in service technical & solution review calls with customers.-
Perform other duties as assigned.
Perform network team management on projects to evaluate, design and implement the business needs. Lead team members and provide work guidance to meet project objectives and assure timeliness, quality and cost effectiveness.
Identify, review, and recommend potential opportunities to improvement service quality and operational efficiency.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
. 4+ years network and voice engineering experience
.Experience in cisco (LAN/WAN) network technologies
.Former lead role in building Cisco Unified Communication projects
.Skype / Teams operation experience
.Different VoIP vendor experience (other than Cisco)
.Service Now experience
(B) Required skills: CCIE or CCNP with 3 yrs ACI exp
(C) Preferred skills: ACI, routing and Loadbalancer
