McAfee, Inc. Looking For Senior Manager, Cloud Operations – Remote at Bangalore Full Time

Role Overview:

As the Senior Manager, Cloud Operations you will be part of Technology Services- Infrastructure and Information Security Enablement (IISE) organization reporting to the Director, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering and Operations. This position has the objective of owning the Cloud Operations operating model including leading, growing and coaching a 24×7 team of Cloud Operations Engineers.

This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role:

• Lead the transition from on-prem traditional infrastructure operational responsibilities to supporting a cloud-first environment.

• Support in the definition of cloud operational responsibilities including operational health, lifecycle management, capacity management & cost optimization, image & patch management and availability & continuity.

• Lead the implementation and automation of cloud operational responsibilities including maintaining a 24×7 model.

• Monitor and react to incidents including partnering with application owners, product engineers and cloud service provider where necessary.

• Partner with the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team to ensure continuity from build to run operations.

• Define and report on Key Performance Indicators on all aspects of the operating model on an ongoing basis.

About You:

• Strong experience with multi-cloud environment including AWS and GCP.

• Hands-on experience with: Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Kafka, GitHub, OpenShift, and configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible is preferred.

• Strong understanding of programming language such as Python or JavaScript.

• Experience with ITIL and processes such as incident, request, change, configuration, and problem.
