In the Engineering Manager role, you will build a world class team with a cultural emphasis of respect, inclusiveness and great sense of belonging. You will lead the team with an approach that embraces and extends the industry best practices for software engineering. You will coach and inspire your team to adopt best in class software engineering practices, create exceptional design, develop features with great performance & quality. You will collaborate deeply with your peers and stakeholders, create plan & architecture and remove obstacles coming in the ways of team to make the team highly successful. You will engage and partner with various Microsoft teams to build on others expertise and help grow & make your team highly successful.
The team will be responsible for building an amazingly delightful product by making it highly contextual. This will be available on all platforms including desktop, browser, mobile devices. The product will amalgamate best in class technologies across services, intelligence, search relevance, analytics, communication, social network etc.

You love the team mission
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
8+ years of software development experience with C#, C, C++ or Java.
5+ years of experience in cloud and related technologies.
3+ years of management experience.
Technical depth and hands on coding and design experience to manage and understand feature development
You empathize with end-users’ needs and help define their key experiences.
Proven track record as effective engineering leader in managing and growing successful teams.
Proven ability to establish trusted, effective relationships across diverse sets of stakeholders.
Proven ability to drive vision, planning, prioritization, engineering execution .
Excellent communication skills and cross group collaboration.
