Create the detailed infra design to operate the application software/services • Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state. Build the detailed process and technical designs vital to operate the software/service on a day-to-day basis and ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap • Establish, govern and ensure alignment to cross-divisional/ systems for considered domain in alignment with Functional Architects and the Design & Integration Architects • Take accountability to ensure alignment with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Delivery scope • Support execution of technical projects in the area of domain considered such as upgrades, consolidations and new technology implementation projects, on time, on quality and costs • Actively learn and identify key considered domain market trends and identify and propose opportunities for their usage in Novartis and recommendation on technology trends (Make Vs Buy, Cloud strategy etc.). Should fit well Devops methodology and drives the solutions accordingly. Oversees and manages delivery of service/solution in partnership with vendors. Position Title: Associate Director – Technical Minimum requirements: • B. Tech / B.E. degree or similar education degree • 12 – 15 years of overall experience in IT. 10 plus years’ experience in solution architecting and technical analysis • IT skills including managing several digital IT projects, Stakeholder Management. Ability to discuss and negotiate and agree on proposed design options with key stakeholders in the organization • Ability to manage medium size teams. Experience working in highly regulated environments. Business Process Reengineering • Strong experience in Web technologies. Experience working on digital technologies such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Advance Analytics, NLP • Experience in Node.js, Python, Java, Web Frameworks (Flask, Spring, ExpressJS), Front-end (HTML, CSS, React etc.), Databases (MySQL, Oracle etc.), Cloud (AWS, Azure), DevOps, GraphQL • Experience building (and consuming) Interfaces using REST API (preferred). Experience in Agile methodology (preferred). 3+ years of hands-on experience working in content management – Veeva – preferred.
