Job Description
Partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.
Responsible for participating in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions. May work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. Implements solutions and ensures successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through more customized presentation demonstrations to customers and at conferences and events. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations). Serves as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Further builds business and technical acumen.
Minimum qualifications include: 5 years experience with computer applications and tools required. Ability to travel 25% international and domestic.
Preferred but not required qualifications include: Bachelor of Science-level university degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering from accredited university; and/or relevant 5 years technical experience. Expertise in system and application design; Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Needs analysis, positioning, and business justification; Solving technical problems with customers in technical environments.

The Mission
You will work as part of Oracle’s Cloud Engineering team to work with our customers on migration plans and strategies to move workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will work with internal Oracle Cloud offering teams, including cloud architects, implementation engineers, Product Management, Development, and sales to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient enterprise blockchain based solutions and plans that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of OCI services. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue and consumption growth across a broad set of customers, help our customers accelerate adoption of OCI – e.g Blockchain, Compute, Storage, Network, Containers, Analytics, Integration, Monitoring, Security – and successfully migrate customer applications from on premise or create new OCI deployments.
Responsibilities
Researching high quality of the material required for a particular blockchain project.
Designing and developing applications using blockchain technology.
Testing and troubleshooting the blockchain-driven projects.
Back end and front end application maintenance.
Evaluating blockchain applications.
Fully implemented and involved in the blockchain ecosystem for integrating the latest possible improvements.
Provide solutions for the existing blockchain platform used.
Preparing docs for every project and leading the team to create better solutions for the existing blockchain technology.
Ability to create an application or system using blockchain technology as a solution to the organization.
Ability to translate high-level requirements into actionable solution architecture.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in order to be effective.
Take an active hands-on approach to all aspects of the solution lifecycle including requirements specification, technical design, prototype development and testing.
Communicate your progress, and shape how your solution can be implemented in production environments.
Key skills
Strong background in software development
Proficiency in programming languages like JS, NodeJS, Python and/or Java
Experience in working with codebases
Hands-on experience on open source projects
Standard algorithms and data structures knowledge
Basic understanding of Cryptography
Familiarity with peer to peer networks
Experience with the top blockchain technology like Bitcoin and Ethereum
Having the capability of writing multiheaded code
Experience with continuous integration and deployment processes (including strong Git, GitHub experience).
Experience with deploying applications in a cloud environment
Good written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and occasionally externally in a professional manner.
