Job Description

Work with Oracle’s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle’s global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.

Education/Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech/MS/Mtech/MCA/MSC in Computer Science or related technical field

Experience/Skill: 10-14 years of relevant industry work experience

The base-line requirement for this position is a rock solid Administration Skills. The position does not identify specific domain skills as mandatory because aggressive on-the-job learning is assumed. Candidates are expected to have significant depth of experience based on past employment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in either of the following areas:

1. Oracle Fusion Middleware Administration (Weblogic)

2. Oracle DBA (RDBMS)

• Overall IT experience of 10-14 years out of which at least 7 years in administration of Oracle products

• 7 years demonstrated experience on Oracle technology products.

• Oracle Identity & Access Manager Knowledge would be an added advantage.

• In Depth knowledge of using and troubleshooting Linux OS , Virtualization , Storage systems , clustering

• Networking: transport protocols, security, load balancing, routing, performance triaging would be desirable

• Experience with enterprise monitoring and management tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager will be preferable

Detailed Job Description : Middleware/DBA Administration

Working Hours: Morning Shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM )

-Responsible for monitoring, analyzing and recommending solutions to performance problems with enterprise business applications.

-Experience in Profiling and monitoring tools, Network monitoring, Fiddler etc

-Strong knowledge of performance concepts such as response time, throughput, system resource utilization.

-Strong knowledge of DB performance area such as analyze AWR , SQLHC , Explain plan and identify slow SQL issue in Oracle Database.

• Identification of SQL statements that are candidates for performance enhancement, and tuning them using STATSPACK, EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL TRACE, TKPROF and Hints

-Experience in analyzing JFR, HeapDump, Stuck Threads etc

-Analyzes the design and architecture of enterprise business applications and components to study the performance characteristics of the applications. Identifies and drives optimization changes in the application design & production environment to improve customer experience for mission/business critical IT applications.

-General knowledge of the following categories of network systems: Multiprocessing, Threading, Distributed systems, Load Balancing and High Availability

-Software profiling and performance tuning knowledge i.e. JProfiler

• Familiarity with Java Heap heuristics and garbage collection policies

– Profile code and look for performance bottlenecks

– Good knowledge of Java profiling tools

b) Eclipse Memory Analyzer, a memory analysis tool that also has some performance related

features.

1. Your Kit Java Profiler is a performance and memory JVM profiler. – Expert in troubleshooting and analyzing HeapDump, Memory, JFR & Stuck Threads Analysis

• Monitor the application servers for performance data load testing
