Job Description
Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.
Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly capable, self-motivated and independent WebLogic Administrators based in India who will provide leadership and expertise in all phases of Middleware operations including deployment, maintenance, performance optimization and support functions. If you are passionate about Oracle Middleware technology as well as cloud computing, this is the ideal role you’ve been waiting for.
Our Middleware team supports environments which are available both on-premise and on Cloud. In this role, you will be expected to possess strong infrastructure and consulting skills and contribute to the infrastructure setup, installation, configuration and support.
To ensure success as a Middleware Administrator, you should possess extensive knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware architecture, as well as having experience in a similar role.
WebLogic Administrator Responsibilities:
Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle Middleware server in a standalone or cluster Environment
Oracle WebLogic Architecture
High-availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for WebLogic (Vertical or Horizontal)
Start and Stop of Oracle WebLogic Services
Implementing DR solutions using RSYNC
Migrate code between test QA and production environments
Configuring WebLogic for Queues, Topics, Distributed Destination, Foreign JMS providers, Message Bridges
Experience with configuring SSL: 1- way SSL and 2 – way SSL configuration.
Configure JDBC connection pools, Data Sources
Deploy applications like WAR files, EJB jars files and enterprise application archives (EAR) on Web Logic using various deployment tools (Console, WebLogic. Deployer, and WLST)
Oracle WebLogic Patching
WebLogic Administrator Requirements:
BE/MCA any computer science related major
A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Infrastructure installation, configuration and support with emphasis on Fusion Middleware Infrastructure
Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of Docker Containers and Orchestration
Strong knowledge of Unix and experience in shell scripting
Experience in provisioning and maintaining environments in any cloud platform like Oracle, Azure, AWS or Google
Basic knowledge of Cloud (OCI, AWS or AZURE)
Experience administering Oracle SOA Suite is a plus
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
