Within OCI, Enterprise Platforms & Services team’s one of the goals is to improve employee experience and employee productivity through seamless employee services by enabling advanced data analytics, AI/ML-based capabilities like conversational AI, self-serve tooling, etc.
We’re seeking dynamic people in this high-profile, agile development team. We have exciting new projects in cloud deployment automation, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Native Cloud services, Big Data Analysis, and Cloud Computing. Members get exposed to new technology and frameworks on a regular basis. We are building the systems from the ground up, so you will have an opportunity to implement systems end to end. Who are we looking for?
You should be a strong full-stack developer with the ability to dig deeper into any part of the stack. An in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of distributed systems is a must. You must also have exposure to the Microservices Technology/Platform and its related technology stack. You also be able to apply those fundamentals to real-world problems and come up with specialized solutions. Your work will require you to interact with cross-functional teams and co-operate with people working in different areas of the stack. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
Enterprise Platforms & Services Engineering team within Oracle Cloud Infra is looking for full-stack Software Developers within our Big Data Platform team who will work with Engineers, customers, and stakeholders to develop modern and enterprise-scale applications. Our team’s goal is to improve employee experience and improve their productivity. You will be working along with application development teams on the shared full stack ownership of a collection of services and/or technology areas. Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services. Work closely with agile teams to ensure they have the tools needed to write, test and deploy code with ease. You will build and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) environments, processes, and tools.
The ideal candidate will possess deep technical skills in software design, software deployment, and cloud computing. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think about long-term, enterprise-grade quality, and scale solutions, migrate/modernize applications on Cloud.
Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Demonstrable Computer science fundamentals, object-oriented design, and development
Large-scale SaaS/PaaS-based cloud-native enterprise application development experience is highly desired.
Work in an Agile DevOps continuous delivery deployment environment with geographically distributed teams is highly desired.
Strong full-stack programming experience in Java, Javascript, Python, Perl/shell scripting, Oracle RDBMS (SQL and NoSQL) is highly desired
Good understanding of Micro-services based architecture, working knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes is highly desired
Good experience in CICD processes and tools like Jenkins and Git is highly desired.
Web & Mobile GUI development Tools/Frameworks experience (Angular, react, OJet) is desirable.
Strong problem solving and communication skills are highly desirable
Automation & tool development for monitoring & managing large-scale systems is a plus
Expertise in developing and operating highly scalable & available systems is highly desired
Must be independent, self-motivated, and a team player
