Pattern Looking For Senior Shopify Engineer at Pune, India Full Time

Pattern is looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Engineer with a demonstrated history of working with Shopify sites. This role will work and lead team of 3-4 developers to develop and maintain multiple D2C websites on the Shopify platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advanced Shopify custom theme development

• Develop and implement Shopify sites in accordance with client’s requirements and specifications

• Convert design mockups (XD or Sketch) into functioning Shopify sites using HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery/Liquid

• Develop responsive HTML emails

• Evaluate and select Shopify apps to solve unique requirements

• Test your own code: identify & troubleshoot bugs

• Excellent self-management skills: you will be given designs and deadlines and check-in as needed

• Flexibility: client requirements are frequently updated

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in which 4+ years experience building Shopify sites

• Strong HTML/CSS/JS skills

• A sound understanding of responsive mobile-first design

• Ability to transform site mockups into pixel-perfect Shopify themes

• Ability to write well-organized and well-documented code

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Bold Subscriptions or another Shopify subscription app

• Experience building custom Shopify apps

• Experience with version control systems such as Git

• (optional) React.js, Redux, Redux-Saga
