PRECISIONxtract Looking For Engineering Lead – Pune India at Maharashtra Full Time

The engineering lead is a high-impact leadership role at precisionxtract reporting directly to the country head of precision medicine group, indiaIn this executive position you are responsible for shaping the technology strategy for the development of products and platform and requires a high level of collaboration with product and operations leadership team.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

Direct, develop and manage talent across the team
Identify learning gaps and ensure that the team is prepared to deliver on required deliverables
Assess our internal systems and process, supporting and revising where necessary

Build and implement a roadmap and ensure timely delivery of team output
Conduct a technology review and create a framework for how xtract code and technologies can work efficiently across service lines
Manage multiple verticals and streamline the process for our different produce lines where appropriate
Collaborate cross functionally with product, sales, and other pmg teams

Navigate and streamline the precision technology legacy systems and advice on best next steps
Develop relationships with existing vendors and create new relationships to ensure full execution of the roadmap
Identify needs and collaborate on building the staff to achieve them
Analyze the data/processes and lead qc/qa of code repository

Qualifications

Ba software engineering or equivalent

Minimum required

Minimum 10 years` experience designing and reviewing complex software ecosystems with focus on data analysis systems including data warehousing, reporting, and strategic analytics (required)
2+ years (define extensive) experience with cloud-based infrastructure (aws, azure, et al.), cloud database management (e.gRedshift, snowflake, databricks) (required)
Familiarity with big data technologies including apache spark and apache cassandra

Other required:

6 years as a systems architect
Minimum 5 years managing a team of engineers (3-5 people minimum)
Experience in life sciences
Experience establishing partnerships with technology vendors

Experience leading technical discussions such as technology reviews
Experience working in an onshore-offshore model

Preferred:

Masters, software engineering
Experience mentoring and providing growth opportunities for engineers

Experience in change management while consolidating tech stacks
Experience with the us healthcare system and its key data sourcesExperience with us pharmaceutical commercialization including market access or commercial operations

Skills:

Ability to create road maps and for prioritization
Ability to evaluate new technologies and how they incorporate into the bigger picture

Experience moving from ideation to execution for new projects
Fluency with sql, data warehousing, data analysis and experience with cloud based technology
