General Summary:
Strong programming skills in C
Must have hands on experience working in the Linux kernel & Linux kernel device drivers
Must have led a team to cater to project deliverables both on technical and man-management fronts
Must have hands on experience working in networking components in the Linux Kernel
Must have hands on experience in Networking driver development; Ethernet and Wireless LAN driver development is preferred
Must have hands on experience in solving complex system issues with good problem solving skills
Should be able to work in aggressive, high pressure environment
Should be able to interact with team members and other teams across geos to clearly identify the requirements and plan within resource constraints
Should be able to delegate to team members and follow up on assignments and take ownership to deliver as per schedules and commitments
WLAN driver experience is an added advantage
Able to travel aboard
Excellent communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years after BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech
Manage a team to cater to development and sustenance requirements for the WLAN projects
Interact with other leads and understand the exact requirements for the deliverables and schedules as well as clearly spell out the dependencies from other teams
Should follow and enforce strict adherence of policies and processes that are laid down during any cycle of project development and sustenance
Design, develop and guide team members to meet the deliverables
Bug analysis/fixing of the issues during product verification stage and customer reported issues
Travel to customer site for bug fixing, requirements gathering and other feature discussions
