Responsible for the ServiceNow tool implementation, development, a utomation, c onfiguration & c ustomization
Provide expertise on all technical questions related to different ServiceNow applications and i mplementation
Responsible for d evelopment of the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component integration testing and validations.
Understand the business needs and the needs to standardize processes, and build into the design
Understand the large scale thinking and approach needed for success of the project
Responsible for ServiceNow development
Core configuration – Platform UI navigation, Portal UI, Glide Scripting, ACL, Script Include, Business Rules, Client Script, UI Polices, Transform Map, Inbound Actions, Email Notification, Workflow, etc.
Core application – build business rules for events and notifications, perform release upgrades, manage application security
Service management – create and manage reports, configure Service Level Agreements (SLA) within the tool, create customization and branding for the website
User management – user access & group management, roles, profiles, user preferneces
Data management – manage data with tables and CMDB, manage data with import sets and update sets
Integration management – design and integrate with 3rdparty solutions to meet business need
Responsible to develop and enhance the ServiceNow instances
Develop web services using JavaScript and Glide Scripting for integration with other applications (example:.HR onboarding, monitoring stack, etc.,)
Develop new features within RMS instances using XML, workflow, business rules, UI actions, UI policy, client scripts and other related technology
Work with infrastructure and other service owners to conduct proof of concept, design, and implement discovery, data certification, service automation, integration, and other related features
Requirements:
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities.
Expert level knowledge of ServiceNow application and all of its function modules
Experience with JavaScript XML, HTML and other script languages to develop applications
Experience with AngularJS, Apache, Glide and/or Jelly scripting and system/process automation (Orchestration)
Experience with service oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
Experience of integration with other enterprise software systems
Experience developing custom applications within the ServiceNow platform from the ground up
Knowledge of ServiceNow technical architecture, especially Mid Server architecture for discovery functionality
Knowledge of LDAP, MS Active Directory and the integration with ServiceNow
Knowledge of Performance Analytics is a plus
Basic network and infrastructure knowledge
Ability to quickly come onboard and can support current ServiceNow implementation
Possess excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to write clearly and communicate information/ ideas
Ability to understand and interpret technical issues and communicate issues effectively to management and stakeholders, and help team members to trouble shoot and resolve issues
Ability to listen and appreciate different points of views, and take inputs from all stakeholders and come up with solutions, recommendations, and decisions that are at the best interest of RMS
5 -10 years IT experience, with more than 3 years ServiceNow development experience
ServiceNow administration, development and ITIL certification
