Mac experience in an Enterprise Environment is required
Mac Engineer will possess system knowledge in the areas of MacOS Imaging, Patching, System Certificates, and Active Directory authentication using Enterprise Connect, Kerberos SSO, and CIS security hardening guidelines to effectively support and grow these technologies
Experience working with Terminal and creating /modifying Shell, Python, and AppleScript scripts to achieve automation and endpoint configuration
Implements, operates, and maintains software distribution and end-point client administration tools through JAMF Cloud
Provide support for all Mac equipment Apple Laptops, Workstations and Servers.
Experience with a ticketing system- ServiceNow experience a plus
Utilizing JAMF Pro to ensure a standard version level of MacOS and applications across all Macs
Experience in macOS desktop and server support skills
Experience supporting MacOS across a range of versions
Experience supporting common MacOS applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office 365
Experience with using and administrating Profiles and Policies using JAMF Pro
Installs and configures end user application and operating system software to include operating system files, patches, user applications, etc. Works closely with Client Services support staff and management when issues with the image process, software installation or application support needs arise.
Utilizes automated deployment and management tools such as Mobile Device Management systems, JAMF/Casper for MAC desktops
Responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, technical support, and testing of Tier 1 through Tier 4 applications worldwide.
Reviews and evaluates periodic critical security notifications and executes a series of planned patch and service pack management utilizing scripts or tools for automated updates. Supports the risk management framework for hardening applications and systems.
Must Have 4+ years of IT experience in Mac OS Application packaging using tools like Composer, Suspicious package, etc.,
Must be aware of how to troubleshoot and reverse engineer the packages for the issue resolution
Must Work consistently to a very high standard even under high-pressure situations, meeting deadlines with a commitment to customer service.
Must be good at Shell scripting, Apple Scripting, Jamf
Good Knowledge on ITIL.
