Job Description
Principal Software Engineer – India (DevOps)
Come join a growing bank at the heart of the innovation, technology, green tech, and life sciences space. We continue to expand our global footprint and our banking technology is at the core of everything we do. As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, your primary responsibility will be implementing the build and deploy automation for applications in On prem and cloud (AWS).
Key Responsibilities:
The role will focus on developing the solutions, working closely with partner resources and team members.
Our clients will use our applications in a secured environment as you continue using your DevSecOps experience and expertise.
You will provide support to all the DevSecOps tools.
As we are early in the cloud journey, your input and work efforts will provide major impact on the groundwork that is to be laid for future work.
Work closely with the application teams to enable and embrace the DevSecOps model
Collaborate with development teams in enabling and adopting the team to DevSecOps pipelines.
Good understanding on deploying the applications on Openshift, ECS, EKS
Experience with GitLab CI and creating reusable modules
Experience with Jenkins, writing code as a pipeline jobs using groovy
Demonstrable skillset in scripting languages, e.g. Bash, PowerShell Demonstrable skillset in programming languages, preferably JavaScript or Python
Good knowledge on Application Security and Security (Checkmarx, Snyk) and Container security (Aqua)
Qualifications/Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years is required, preferably in Computer Science, Software. Engineering, or other related engineering subject area.
3+ years of experience with gitlab CI and creating reusable modules
3+ years of experience with Jenkins, writing code as a pipeline jobs using groovy
3+ years Deep Understanding of service design for Cloud (AWS) using Containers, Container Orchestration (like Kubernetes)
AWS Certified SysOps/DevOps – Associate/Professional is a plus
