Specific Needs
Provide cyber security PKI services to business units at SVB and support IT initiatives and business projects by recognizing security risks and implementing security controls in adherence to SVB security policies and standards.
Analyst that can learn quickly and collaborate with other engineers and operations teams on-prem datacenters to the cloud.

About the Role
Security Analyst- to administer the Certificate Authorities (CA) and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Management platform services.
Primary Responsibilities :
TEAM PLAYER – Act as a team player supporting peers, and department management
ADMINISTER- Create and manage digital certificates (issuance, store, renewal, etc.) Manage and verify CRL and OCSP availability
DOCUMENTATION – Build high quality roadmaps , strategies, standards and procedures to publicize the work of the department and develop the knowledge of others .
Responsibilities:
TEAM PLAYER – Act as a team player supporting peers, and department management
Assist with the implementation, maintenance, documentation and overall support of SVB Security policies, standards and services to include public key infrastructure (PKI) and enterprise key management platforms and systems (i.e. hardware security modules (HSM)
ADMINISTER- Create and manage digital certificates (issuance, store, renewal, etc.) manage and verify CRL and OCSP availability
DOCUMENTATION – Document current and future design and deployment of x509 Certificates.
Build high quality roadmaps, strategies, standards and procedures to publicize the work of the department and develop the knowledge of others .
Support and advise on changes to various elements of SVBs PKI/HSM infrastructure include troubleshooting in a hybrid operating environment (on-prem, cloud, 3rd party)
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
Experience working in mixed OS environments (Windows, Linux, UNIX/BSD)
Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) PowerShell cmdlets
Knowledge of x509 certificates management, request, issue, store, etc.
Familiar with general cloud computing and related security concepts.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
An ability to quickly gain a thorough knowledge of SVB’s bank operations and products.
