Responsibilities
Triage tickets via phone, email, and our support portal
Use support ticket system for managing customer communications
Perform initial triage on issues, collect relevant data to reproduce and escalate to development teams if needed
Develop scripts to help with investigation of customer issues
Perform software upgrades and patch installations for customer systems
Training – training of customer operations and engineering teams
Create knowledge articles that can be consumed by both internal and external resources
Working closely with sales engineering team and rsm to ensure success of the telestream solution within deployed customers
Qualifications
Excellent software/network troubleshooting skills and experience
Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate technology and
Solution positioning to both business and technical users
Experience in the telecom and digital cable market, or equivalent technical space
Dynamic self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have experience and knowledge of linux-based o/s administration, ethernet,
Tcp/ip, ip routing
Experience with building custom scripts (python, bash, etc.)
Database experience with mysql or postgres
Experience of working with public cloud platforms, particularly aws
Ability to work effectively with resellers, sales and support staff across the region
Undergraduate degree in telecommunications, computer science, electronics or
