Location/Division Specific Information
Data Engineer III, based out of our Bangalore location, plays a key role in the Operations of Data Science program, providing business continuity for critical business processes, IT systems and IT solutions through project implementations, enhancements, documentation and operational support.

What will you do?
Support Enterprise Data Warehouse and ensure Data loads are successful on daily basis.
Apply 5+ years of experience at Enterprise-level ETL development, support & maintenance in Informatica PC 9.x, 10.x
Support DB related tasks using SQL/PLSQL scripting / programming with Oracle 10g, 11g
Perform Data Profiling / Data Analysis and Unix shell scripting.
scheduling with Control-M or in Informatica
Ensure Informatica application is always available.
Maintain Unix environments related to Informatica servers
How will you get here?
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 6 years of ETL, Database programming and Data integration experience.
Support Enterprise Data Warehouse and ensure Data loads are successful.
5+ years of experience at Enterprise-level ETL development, support & maintenance in Informatica PC 9.x, 10.x
Good understanding of Informatica architecture and proven experience of 2+ years in administration of Informatica.
4 – 5 years of SQL/PLSQL scripting / programming with Oracle 10g, 11g
Good Expereince of Data Profiling / Data Analysis and Unix shell scripting.
Knowledge of extract development against SAP, Siebel, JDE, BAAN preferred
Experience with Enterprise scheduling with Control-M preferred
Demonstrated skill and ability in the development of data warehouse projects/applications (Oracle & SQL Server)
Strong analytical experience with database in writing complex queries, query optimization, debugging, user defined functions, views, indexes etc.
Experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins build and continuous integration tools.
Knowledge of extract development against ERPs – SAP, Siebel, JDE, BAAN preferred
Knowledge of Python, Spark or AWS Data bricks is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Full life cycle implementation experience in creating / supporting ETL solutions using Informatica.
Experience with agile development methodologies by following DevOps, Data Ops and Dev Sec Ops practices.
Manage life cycle of ETL Pipelines and other cloud platform tools, including GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
Excellent written, verbal and inter-personal and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to analyze trends associated with huge datasets.
Ability to work with cross functional teams from multiple regions/ time zones by effectively leveraging multi-form communication (Email, MS Teams for voice and chat, meetings)
Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills.
