Duties
Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the Human Resources (HR) Office, U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. The incumbent will provide full personnel services support to all Locally Employed Staff (LE staff), Direct Hire, Personal Services Agreement for State and all other agencies at Post (except USAID). S/he will work on salary negotiations, will provide orientation to new employees; will ensure that all aspects of the LE Staff compensation plan and the staff performance management and evaluation program are properly followed and administered. S/he will ensure that the HR databases are accurate and updated at all times. S/he will be responsible to oversee that LE staff services program for about 1100 employees. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned.
Note: The incumbent maybe required to occasionally sit late and work overtime during deadline projects and last minute requests.

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three years of work experience in Human Resources.

Education Requirements:
Successful completion of two years of college studies.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in New Delhi, India may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
