Duties Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the General Services Office (GSO), U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. The incumbent will be required to assist the supervisor in storekeeping of all Vehicle parts and Building Maintenance supplies, provide guidance to warehouse crew, coordinating , scheduling of deliveries and pull-outs on a day-to-day basis. S/he will be responsible for the management, keeping and updating of accurate Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS) records. The incumbent needs to ensure accomplished requisitions (DS-583) are transmitted on daily basis for data entry. S/he will be required to keep the warehouse storage areas clean and orderly at all times. S/he will assist for submission of the monthly usage report to Financial Management Centre (FMC) with breakdown to building operating expenses and maintenance /repair related issuances. The incumbent will be required to provide backup duties for Expendable supplies supervisor. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned. Note: The incumbent should have the ability to lift packages in proportion to his weight.

EXPERIENCE:
The position requires one year of experience in inventory control procedures or warehouse operations.

Education Requirements:
The position requires successful completion of Secondary School (Class X).

Level 3 (Good working knowledge) in English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is required. This may be tested.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Valid Indian Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is required.
Please attach a copy of the valid Indian driving license with the application along with all the mandatory/required documents. Applications which do not have a copy of the license will not be accepted.
Please note: U.S. Government regulations require all Chauffeurs or Incidental drivers for official vehicles to be 25 years of age or older. We will not consider candidates below 25 years of age.
