About the role

As a senior employee relations partner, you will be our subject matter expert for er issues in india and south asia (bangladesh and sri lanka)You will conduct investigations into employee concerns, help resolve conflict between employees, manage regional and global er projects and help mentor a team of er partners.
Reporting to the apac director of employee relations, the right candidate will thrive in an `all hands on deck` environment, love solving people and employment-related issues, and operate effectively through ambiguityIf you are creative, resourceful, organized, like to move fast, solve tough problems and have strong interpersonal skills, this is the role for you.
What you`ll do:
Conduct investigations in response to a range of employee concerns, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace violence, and other violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Coach, advise and mentor all levels of management through employee relations matters (e.g., interpersonal conflict, communication of employment decisions, advice on policy application)
Apply conflict resolution techniques to help employees solve interpersonal or other situational conflicts
Support global and regional projects as a representative of the er team
Communicate with er and other uber stakeholders regularly regarding pending projects and investigations
Guide management in the application and interpretation of employment laws or regulations and hr-related policies and practices (e.g., corrective action, attendance policy)
Build manager capability and employee awareness of internal er processes, policies and practices
Foster effective relationships with hr teams and business leaders
Partner with employment legal when conducting investigations to facilitate prompt and effective resolution of workplace concerns
Analyze employee relations trends with business leaders and hr teams; help develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs and policies
What you`ll need:
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in employee relations, investigations or employment law
Working knowledge of local laws that govern employment policies and practices
Thorough understanding and application of internal and external hr principles, concepts, practices and standards
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator
