Purpose of the job:
To achieve Unilever strategic business objectives, it is important that our gold standard analytics products can effectively leverage this underlying data foundation. The purpose of this role is to act as a bridge between core data SME team and analytics product managers to ensure data roadmap is aligned to big product milestones and meets quality standards expected from the analytics products.
Experience, Skillsets and Qualifications required:
Overall experience of 5-8 years preferred
Data lifecycle management – Fully Operational
Analytical power and actionable insights generation – Working Knowledge
Data modelling and architecture – working knowledge
Azure data lake technologies – working knowledge
Global CD and trade promotion management process knowledge – preferable
Business Intelligence / Data Modelling and Visualisation – working knowledge
Technical knowledge Data Bricks, SQL – working Knowledge
Coding Skills in R, Python – preferable knowledge
Post-graduate in a relevant field (Business Analytics, Operations Research)
Key Accountabilities:
Accountable for delivering data foundation for products
Owns the data delivery timelines in the overall product build plan
Ensures readiness of data and flags risks to product leadership team as required
Defines the scope of data remediation activities and activates necessary resources for on time completion.
Leads the resolution process for any data related challenges to meet product milestones. This includes working with broader data COE and solution factory teams to define a clear roles and responsibilities matrix and driving that on ground.
Leads the data governance for product related data and activates it by working with broader data COE organization.
Oversee product data related functional/ non-functional design and ensure Capability Teams’ members of the squad develop solutions which meet the business requirements
Builds and owns a data support model post product go live. This role acts as an escalation point for data related issues.
Works with central data quality team in data as a platform program to ensure automated checks are built for monitoring and control.
Bring the data strategy to life by working with the BDL & Solution Factories to ensure project deliverables are appropriately costed & scheduled in-line with project expectations
Owns the product data model and ensures maximum standardization across similar markets.
Own products developed in BAU and work with the D&A Market teams/ Solution Factory to ensure DevOps requests are appropriately managed, budgeted and delivered
