Company Introduction
Varaha is a tech startup at the intersection of – climate, agriculture and technology. We are developing a holistic tech platform for quantification, verification, creation and sale of ‘High’ quality carbon credits, via our own marketplace. These credits will be generated directly from the smallholder farms. The startup uses technologies such as Remote sensing, Blockchain, Science-based quantification tools and models.
Varaha is founded by IIM Ahmedabad Alumni with extensive experience with respect to developing and scaling up products and services for farmers. The mission of the company is to provide agriculture as a solution to climate change while helping increasing farmer income.
Brief Job Profile
The incumbent would be responsible for overall Human Resource Management & Administration. Implementing HR strategies and initiatives, managing people and establishing policies aligned with the overall business strategy. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while safeguarding our company values and culture

· Proven working experience of 4+ years as HR senior level professional.
· Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
· Knowledge of HR systems and databases
· Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
· Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
· People-oriented and results-driven
· Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels.
