Citrix Administrator- Deputy Manager

The Infrastructure Operations Specialist focuses upon administration of central and/or local data centres, legacy and/or centralized infrastructure, standards and requirements and provides support for the availability of Vodafone IT applications and Data Centre activities and database environments. The Infrastructure Operations Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in internal network infrastructure, data availability and technical support for customers (internal and external) gained through extensive practical experience and works with colleagues to monitor hardware and software in datacentres, and execute event/incident, configuration, escalation, release, deployment and 3rd party database management activities. Typically reports to the Infrastructure Operations Manager. The Infrastructure Operations Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in internal network infrastructure, data availability and technical support for customers (internal and external) gained through extensive practical experience and works with the colleagues to deliver monitoring of HWandSW in datacentres, and executing event/incident, configuration, escalation, release, deployment and 3rd party database management activities. Typically reports to the Infrastructure Operations Manager.

• Proficient in working with high availability environment along with alignment to process (ITIL)
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Experience with DevOps concept in cloud environment.
• Working experience in managing highly business critical environments.
• Cloud architect/operations associate Certification (preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skill on Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop (PVS && MCS), NetScaler and Azure (IaaS), AWS, GCP.
• Able to handle first point of escalation for all technical and complex issues.

Job Responsibility

• Experience with Citrix implementations, maintenance, configurations, and resolve escalated issues for Citrix Virtual App, Citrix Virtual Desktop, and Citrix NetScaler.
• Proven ability implementing Best Practices, Optimization, Fine Tuning skills on Citrix Infrastructure components.
• Experience on implementation and troubleshooting skills of Citrix NetScaler (Access Gateway, Load Balancing) and XenApp/XenDesktop 7.X suite.
• Good understanding on Hyper Converged Infrastructure (Nutanix) and Azure Cloud (IaaS), AWS, GCP.
• Expertise in AWS cloud services like VPC, EC2, ECS, S3, EBS, Glacier, ELB, Elastic IPs, etc.
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Active directory and GPO
• Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to understand complex relationships between components of multi-tiered, distributed applications.
• Knowledge of scripting – PowerShell, Python will be added advantage
• Experience working in a large, enterprise-level Citrix environment (global environment highly preferred).
• Ability to provide reliable technical support and guidance on complex issues in a high velocity, dynamic environment #_VOIS
