Position Summary
The role of the Support Engineer – EBS Financials is to provide exceptional support for mission-critical EBS applications as part of our AMS – GSD team. The position has the responsibility for researching, troubleshooting and supporting of multiple EBS modules for our global clients. The role of the EBS Support Engineer requires the expertise and skills to diagnose serious issues; then develop, test, package and deliver fixes for such issues in complex, integrated and highly-configured environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluate complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of Oracle applications functionality and develop an action plan to resolve issues, either directly or through promotion to our Product Support Team (L4).
Provide hands-on assistance to end users via remote client connectivity or collaborative web meeting
Work closely with end users on a daily basis to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a consistently high-quality customer experience
Replicate reported issues as needed for troubleshooting
Provide new or modified application configuration to resolve incidents
Advise end users and junior coworkers on application functionality and capabilities
Recommend changes to training based on incident volumes and trends
Create scripts to identify, analyze and correct data issues
Thoroughly document change requests, test results, and approvals
Develop test scripts for new/changed application capabilities
Be a pro-active contributor to a support organization which is running 24x7x365, this will require the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays and monitoring email regularly outside standard business hours
Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment to extend field experience to different client situations
Contribute to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes, to improve the client experience
AMS Support System understanding. Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management & Change Management
Working on tickets and adhering to SLA
Stakeholder management & understanding of Service Delivery Model
Should have worked on AMS engagements
May require to work in shifts – 2nd shift / 3rd shift ( Based on need basis)

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

5+ years relevant Oracle EBS experience
Experiance in Project Accounting, Project Costing and Project Billing
Level 2 & 3 Support for customer
Provide Oracle applications support for Financials in functional role.
Configure Oracle applications based on BR.100 documents
Produce functional specification and test scripts documents for custom objects
Test RICEW objects referring test documents (TE.040)
Train client business users on Oracle Applications
Support customer in rollout of Oracle Applications in new geographies
Create user manuals on Finacials modules as per requirement
Work closely with client Oracle SMEs and Project Manager
Status reporting on the incidents and Service requests
Work with Oracle product support team for any issues identified in Applications
Working experience in SCM / Projects modules is added advantage
Skills
Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving
Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with Clients
Strong knowledge of key application functionality
Deep knowledge of Oracle EBS customization/extension methodologies
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal & written. Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
Extreme focus on Client satisfaction
Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations
Desired Qualifications
The best candidates will have extensive knowledge of multiple EBS modules across releases (11i & R12) including proficiency with EBS product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, integration with other modules and knowledge of underlying technology
Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage
Experience with Financials as well as Time and Labor would be an advantage
