Presales consultant, working with sales and customers
Helping close the business by executing the technical tasks required such as:
O in-depth understanding of the technical requirements of an opportunity
O in-depth understanding of ni product portfolio, its capability, and limitation.
O keeping track of competitive products
O understanding market availability and specifications of supplementary rf products to design an integrated solution
O creation and demonstration of proof of concepts and performance benchmarks in
Support of large sales opportunities
O quick sales assistance / consulting
O joint customer visits / web-meetings / conference calls
O opportunity qualification (accelerate go / no go decisions based on technical feasibility,
Estimated effort, and risk analysis)
O opportunity consulting and proposal of system architectures and configurations
Collaboration and reuse
O on daily basis, collaborate with other ses (locally and internationally)
O document and publish relevant project information to enable reuse (in particular by other aes)
O create, document, and present reusable content (code libraries, demo applications, reference designs, white-papers, articles, presentations, competitive analysis etc.)
O leverage application and market know-how by contributing to marketing events like defense expo, tradeshows, ni events , account events etc.
O attend and present at global systems engineering summits
O plan and execute advanced and customized internal and external trainings (e.gNew
Product training for alliance partners, this does not include standard ni training classes)
O collaboration with marketing and sales departments in order to replicate successes

O provide product, competition, and market feedback to product marketing and r&d
Requirements
Minimum
O graduate degree in electrical/electronics/telecommunication engineering
O 8-12 years of experience in signal processing in telecommunication protocols or non-standard radios or radar or electronic warfare.
O proven knowledge on baseband signal processing – floating point and fixed point designsEssential knowledge of rf transmitter and receiver design and its various components
O essential knowledge of rf terminology and hardware specifications to be able to communicate with clients
O essential knowledge of rf channel models and multi-input multi-output radio systems
O demonstrated ability to work independently but also in a team
O demonstrated ability to understand customer needs
O prepared to travel within the jkai region.
O excellent communication skills(oral and written)
O confident appearance and excellent presentation skills.
O language skills: excellent knowledge of english.
