Job Description
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
Responsibilities
15+ year of Domain experience in banking industry, 5+ years of experience in product development / Product Implementation
Should have extensive experience in Corporate Banking /Retail Banking /Investment Banking
Experience in Strategic Leadership, Driving Innovation, Product & People Development
Should have experience as a Product Manager : Building Product Road Map , Prioritizing Features across releases . Writing / Reviewing Requirements , User stories
Strong Communication, Presentation & Networking skills. Experience in interacting with customers , Partners, other Oracle Products and working with remote teams.
Ability to understand and effectively respond to customers’ issues, and to build credibility and customer confidence in Oracle’s capabilities
Excellent interpersonal/influencing skills .Excellent articulation , documentation and communication skills both verbal and written. Passionate learner of functional domain, product and technology.
Good Functional analytical skills. Experience working as product owner in agile development will be highly preferred
Genuine passion, interest, willingness and ability to adjust to continuously changing priorities and needs
Strong understanding of Cloud Technology
Strong teamwork and facilitation skills with the ability to:
Balance conversations within groups
Offer suggestions and improvements to process and work effectively with all personalities.
Drive towards building consensus
Genuine interest and passion for learning, educating and mentoring.
Readiness to work supporting multiple time zones covering mainly US (east cost), India, Europe
Readiness to travel as needed
