The team youll be part of
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
What you will learn and contribute to
Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:
Impact assessment / initial analysis prior to ticket creation
Support any escalations during new feature launch – VoNR, NR-CA, DSS etc.
SW upgrade troubleshooting support
Drive R&D investigation for business critical round the clock.
Driving issues which due to complexity are more like a project, for example AEHC sleepy issues, which requires daily report, log collection, customer meetings etc.
To involve in each of the NPI projects to essentially become leads for the specific NPI feature/project during care phase.
Gain competence through NPI and responsible to share it with their peers & will be introduced to the NPI teams as care leads for these features.
Proactively look for issues Before, During and After S/W and Features are rolled out.
Quickly communicate when issues are found (established communication path).
Provide Daily status reporting of monitored sites
Your skills and experience
L3+ skill level with SRAN (LTE) and 5G RAN
Good hands-on with SRAN and 5G Base Band units and various Radio Modules with complex RF sharing configurations
Hands-on with trace collection and analysing of the below logs to find the RCA and fix the issues
Emil / Syslogs/ TTI / BTS log / BTS Snapshot/ Journal / BIP/ Wireshark / NG-c / NGu / BIP / RU logs / IQ L1 dumpers
Very good step by step problem solving approach
Very good communication and customer handing skills
6 to 8 Years for Nokia Radio product expertise, 2-3 years of Nokia SRAN and 1-2 years of Nokia 5G expertise
