The team you’ll be part of
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
Job Description:
This role involves radio planning and designing of 5g network . The candidate will be apart of the circle team and he is expected to have a good understanding & hands-on experience in 5G technology and 5G / LTE Radio Network planning and designing.
Skillsets & Requirements:
Knowledge on 5G SA and NSA technology
Knowledge of beamforming technology, carrier aggregation, VONR
Planning and designing of 5G /4G network
Basics of Link Budget preparation for 5G/ 4G , capacity Dimensioning
Detailed network coverage planning using planning tools
PCI planning , Neighbor planning,
Parameter planning and inputs to site configuration file preparation
knowledge of Radio product, architecture, E2E 5G / LTE Network overview and interfaces
As part of our team, you will:
Manage the delivery of network planning projects according to the agreed scope of work (SoW), while managing customer’s expectations and schedule of acceptance in the circle .
Create a project in the RF planning tool like atoll / planet on suitable PC/Cloud platforms. Load the terrain, clutter, antenna database, coverage boundaries, site database, traffic data, and detailed maps for the area (streets, major highways, local roads).
Update the planning data based on the field survey result , including antenna database
Study the RF design coverage maps and identify problem areas in terms of coverage, interference, or pilot pollution.
Validate and analyze Design Optimization data, and format and compile all required output reports.
Discussions with customer on final design and analysis .
Drive the CW drive and model tuning activity in the circle
Support in data fill for site creation

Deep Knowledge and practice of planning tool like atoll , planet, 9955
CW drive kit and model tuning process
Other Skills:
Good Understanding on circle operations
Good communication skills
Good Attitude and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated and flexible to work according to the project need
Practical and results oriented
Self-directive, flexible team player who wants to get the job done and is not afraid of take responsibility
Experience:
Minimum Experience of 7- 12 years in radio planning
Experience on NSN 5G / 4G systems will be treated as an exceptional advantage
